Human Synergistics International is a global leader in conducting research and developing methodologies and tools in the field of organizational development. We are launching the most comprehensive regional research study on organizational culture to date, covering organizations from Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Why Organizational Culture?

Organizational culture is increasingly recognized in the corporate world as a factor that differentiates successful organizations, enables them to survive in a changing market, and ultimately leads to profitability.

At its core, it represents the way members of an organization believe they are expected to behave in order to fit in, to advance, or to “survive” in times of crisis.

These values, beliefs, and expectations shape people’s behavior within organizations and determine how members interact with one another and how they perform their work. Consciously or unconsciously, organizations themselves create this culture through their structures, systems, technologies, communication processes, and through the example leaders set for employees.

Organizational culture can drive high performance and the development of both the organization and its employees, or it can become an insurmountable obstacle to progress and desired change.

Why This Research?

We aim to transform valuable insights into practice regarding the cause-and-effect relationship between organizational performance, organizational culture, and the key driving factors within organizations.

To achieve this, through this comprehensive project and in collaboration with organizations, our shared goal is to:

Understand how employees perceive the existing culture.

Learn what kind of culture they aspire to and what truly motivates them.

Identify the key factors shaping organizational culture in our region.

Define guidelines for its further development and for improving organizations across the region.

The research results will be presented at the Organizational Culture Conference, organized by Human Synergistics Srbija in October 2026.

Organizations with more than 50 employees can apply for the research. Additionally, the organization should have a department with at least 20 employees who are involved in the organization’s core business activities.
